On Election Day, Snap a Pic and #VoteUber!
Decision 2012 has finally arrived, and we know that no city gets more excited about political events than our hometown of Washington, DC. So we’re extra-excited to have a little fun this Election Day!
Worried about your lunch hour trip to the polls running a little long? Never fear, Uber is here! And we’re making that luxurious ride even a little bit sweeter: celebrating with Washingtonians who cast that ballot (or not—no voting required, we just want to celebrate Election Day with you!) with a sweet Twitter contest for some free Uber credit!

Step 1: Follow us on Twitter: @Uber_DC
Step 2: On Election Day tweet a picture of yourself in an Uber with your “I Voted Today!” sticker (or really, any sticker at all). Use the hashtag #VoteUber and mention us @Uber_DC and we’ll hook you up with $5 toward another ride this week. Whoa, I know.
Take this as an opportunity to show the Uber DC team, your Twitter followers, and your Uber driver just how awesomely patriotic you are. Have a hat with flags on it? Wear it in the photo! Can’t control the urge to put that sticker right on your nose and make a winky face? As long as we can see a sticker in the Uber, it’s golden.
