DC Gives Back

Since launching in DC nearly 4 years ago, we’ve been inspired by this city and are proud to call it home.  We are committed to serving DC by connecting our communities, empowering local entrepreneurs, and partnering with local entities to help improve city life.

This Thanksgiving we’re proud to partner with the Capital Area Food Bank to support their efforts to take hunger off of the Washington area map.
IMG_4319On Tuesday, our local city team worked alongside Deputy Mayor Snowden to provide volunteer support to pack weekend grocery bags. These bags are just one way in which the CAFB addresses child hunger, which affects 1 in 3 kids in DC. The food is used as a supplement to children who receive free and reduced lunch at school and may miss out on access to nutrition on the weekend. The team was also able to assist with the logistics and transportation used to distribute bags throughout the community.

Our deepest thanks to CAFB for having us and to Deputy Mayor Snowden for joining us to support such a great cause. We urge you all to give back to the community—we all have the opportunity to make a difference.

Please visit the CAFB website if you are interested in donating or learning more about how you can volunteer your time.
