Our Pledge this Holiday Season

Uber and Mothers Against Drunk Driving encourage you to help save lives this holiday season by pledging not to drink and drive.

Ride in Style and Win!

Philly’s young professionals always dress to impress. That’s why we’ve teamed up with two of Philly’s premier clothiers to outfit one guy and one girl with the chicest business attire. You could win a custom suit courtesy of bespoke tailer Henry A. Davidsen or a super chic outfit from Skirt boutique.

Making the streets safer, one ride at a time

In Pennsylvania, alcohol-related motor vehicle deaths exceed the national average by 24%. In an effort to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving, we set up our Uber breathalyzer kiosk in Manayunk on Thanksgiving Eve — a night when people around the country enjoy catching up with old friends and hitting the town’s haunts.

Philadelphia has some of the most entertaining nightlife in the country and with Uber it’s never been easier to enjoy a night out on the town.

Philly Says Thanks to Our Heroes

The weekend of this year’s Army–Navy Game, we partnered with the American Red Cross to honor our service members and share a touch of home. As part of the Holiday Mail for Heroes initiative, we stocked over 200 cars with blank holiday cards and pens, giving Uber Philly riders the opportunity to write a personal note to our troops.

It’s Easy to Say Thanks This Holiday Season

‘Tis the season for giving. Today and tomorrow, we’re partnering with the American Red Cross to deliver holiday cards to the men and women of our U.S. Armed Forces—signed by you.

Empowering Philadelphia Women

On Friday, November 20, eight of Philly’s most influential women gathered to discuss economic empowerment and offer insights, tips, and stories from their experiences as leaders. Hosted by Uber Philadelphia and moderated by Councilwoman-at-large Blondell Reynolds Brown, the panel discussed a variety of topics ranging from entrepreneurship, to inner strength, to the ability to “have it all.”

Shop Small and UberLOCAL

Philly is home to a bustling community of independent businesses, which offer goods and services as unique as the city itself. Today, in honor of Small Business Saturday® and celebration of local culture, we’re partnering with some of our favorite boutiques, coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, and bars.
