veto HB 4075
This past August, Governor Quinn vetoed HB 4075, a bill that would have ended uberX as we know it in Illinois. Thank you for all your support. We’re thrilled that the Governor chose innovation over the status quo by supporting ridesharing in Illinois, but we need to make sure the state legislature doesn’t override the governor’s veto in the upcoming session. We need your help.
Uber Chicago arrived at the Thompson Center to demonstrate the impact uberX has made on Illinois. We delivered over 75,000 petition signatures to Governor Quinn’s City of Chicago office to veto HB 4075 and save uberX. There’s still time to take action!
Uber is lucky to partner with more than 100 veterans in the Chicagoland area. Veterans are asking Governor Quinn to protect consumer transportation choice by vetoing HB 4075, which would limit their economic opportunities and your access to safe and reliable rides. Sign the petition today!
