Gina is a full-time student at UIC, and when she’s not busy studying accounting or going out in River North with her friends, she’s behind the wheel getting to know Chicagoans one Uber ride at a time.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
We’ve teamed up with the American Cancer Society to participate in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks throughout the month of October to help put Breast Cancer in our rear view! For every participant who takes their first ride with a Making Strides promo code, we will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society.
Moving food throughout Chicago
A priority for the Uber Chicago team is giving back. As we continue to expand across the globe, it’s important for us to remain a part of the Chicago community. Last month, we teamed up with Zero Percent for September’s Hunger Action Month. The goal of our partnership was to utilize our Uber Chicago team and uberX vehicles to help Zero Percent in their mission to eliminate foodwaste.
A Milestone for Innovation
Today’s a great day for innovation in Illinois. With the help of Governor Quinn, today we announced our plans to create 420 new jobs in Chicago by the end of 2016 as well as the expansion to our new regional office headquarters. Read more about Uber’s impact on Illinois here.
