We ❤ Seattle Launch Dinner Recap!

Last Thursday night Uber hosted a fancy/intimate/ridic-fun dinner at Canlis to announce our official Seattle arrival, as well as pay our respects to the tech, business and cultural innovators who paved the way. Thanks to them, the Emerald City is a ripe landscape for our third city!

We flew out super-SF-rider Danny Trinh. Dude rides enough we HAD to invite him.

Along with a DELICIOUS dinner and cocktails, Uber held a “Garage Sale” (a.k.a. silent auction) bidding off UH-Mazing items such as:

  • Be a Driver for a Night (requires getting proper licenses…our drivers gotta be legit!)
  • Create your own Geofence Promo (i.e. pick 2 addresses and whenever those two locations are the start and end of trip, 50% off–Home to work? Favorite bar to mom’s? You choose.)
  • Uber Treats you to be Flown out to the Chicago Launch Party (hmm…is that coming up?)

Congrats to the winners and stay tuned on our blog as we follow our winner of the “Be a Driver for a Night”‘s switch from rider to driver.

Big thank you to all who came out! You ladies and gents were a blast to hang with and we were humbled to spend the evening with you crazy cats. Check out our facebook page for more awesome pics from the night (Thanks Mike Folden- www.mikefolden.com– for snapping such PRETTY pics)!
