Bellingham, Your Uber is Arriving Now

Bellingham, your Uber is arriving now!

Starting today at 4pm, the City of Subdued Excitement will have access to the convenience and reliability of Uber. Whether you’re headed downtown for a bite to eat or the thought of walking up Indian Street to campus just makes you sad, Uber has your back.

To celebrate, we’re offering you two free Uber rides (up to $25 each) from Thursday, November 12th at 4pm through Saturday, November 14th at 2am.

All you have to do is download the Uber app, pinpoint your location, and request a ride when you’re ready to head out. Your free rides will automatically apply, so all you have to do is tap the app and you’re good to go.

Once you request, your driver will arrive within minutes. No need to exchange cash or fumble with a credit card machine – it’s all taken care of through the app.

If you live in Bellingham, you’re probably familiar with Austin, the talent buyer at the Wild Buffalo, who knows the local music scene like the back of his hand. Austin was excited to catch the first Uber ride in Bellingham with his driver Buzz, a retired chemical engineer. Austin needed a ride to get his morning coffee and Buzz was happy to get him where he needed to go.

“The Wild Buffalo has a lot of people here late at night, so we’re excited to have Uber as another option for people to get home safely. I personally use Uber in every city in the US, so it’s great to have it where I live.” -Austin, talent buyer at the Wild Buffalo
