The full work week is about to wrap up, and we’re looking forward to the weekend! Since our team will be cooking turkey, eating pumpkin pie, and watching copious amounts of football next weekend, we thought we’d provide you a list of #UberApproved events to check out for both this weekend and next. Lace up the Skates | Panther Island Ice Skating
It’s time to hit the ice at Fort Worth’s only outdoor ice skating rink! Shred the ice seven days a week between November 21st – January 19th. You may not be able to do axel jumps or back flips on the ice, but staying upright and off of the ground is a big enough feat. You’re sure to have a blast on your blades!
Celebrate Rahr | Rahr 10th Anniversary
It’s time to celebrate Rahr’s 10th Anniversary with an awesome tour and tasting at the brewery. This Saturday from 1-5pm, there will be more than 30 beers available for tasting. Light ‘Em Up | Dallas City Lights
On Sunday, November 23rd, from 3-8pm, enjoy festive holiday activities in Downtown Dallas as they light up the official Downtown Dallas Christmas Tree! There will also be an outdoor market, ornament making, musical performances, and much more fun to be had! Make sure to take your family and friends downtown to participate in this special Dallas tradition.
Gobble, Gobble | Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot
Don’t miss out on the chance to start Thanksgiving off right by getting active with your family! At 9am on Thursday, November 27th, head on down to the Dallas City Hall to trot your little tail off. The Turkey Trot is a fun holiday run and a strong Dallas tradition; this year will be the 47th Dallas Turkey Trot! If you’re feeling extra festive – dress up as a turkey, bring your family, bring your friends, this race is for everybody!
Together for the Holidays | Fort Worth Parade of Lights
Hop on over to the intersection of Belknap and Throckmorton in Fort Worth for their annual holiday celebration. With over 100 parade floats that will light up the night, this parade truly encompasses the magic of the holiday season. Make a whole day out of by enjoying the local foods, shopping, and various holiday festivities!
