It’s getting hot in herre. Let’s go outside.

It’s finally the weekend and summer is officially just days away. Walking outside in the late afternoon is so refreshing this time of year, so why not round up some friends and go on an adventure outside your neighborhood? You worked hard this week for it. This week’s jawn is great bars and restaurants with outdoor seating, because there’s nothing like people watching or city views when you have friends and a strong drink. Ride safe and Uber on, everyone!

“CPK is the perfect neighborhood spot for grabbing a beer (awesome selection!) and hanging with friends. Furry friends are welcome on their outdoor patio, too! They have a lot of food choices for those with dietary restrictions as well – I love their vegan Kale Burger.” – Genna, Marketing Manager

Their pizza is absolutely fantastic and the wine selection rivals the best in the city. There’s even a great cocktail list, with each craft named after a famous Italian cyclist. Don’t drink and bike, guys!” – Emily, Marketing Manager

Great escape and the cocktails are delicious, the Garland of Peaches is my favorite – Bulleit Rye infused with white peach tea, house made ginger syrup, fresh mint.” – Emily, Marketing Manager

SOUTH STREET | Percy Street Barbecue

Nestled between 9th and 10th on South Street with a bustling energy, the food is a traditional southern style and I love everything about it. There’s mac and cheese. GAME OVER. There’s pulled pork over fries. YES PLEASE. The salads there are the best I’ve ever had too, especially for those moments when I’m trying to watch my figguh. Great people watching spot.” – Dave, Marketing Manager

“I love Continental. With a few locations, this one is the most unique. While I love the tapas downstairs, My evening always starts with a gin and tonic on the roof. There’s always a refreshing breeze, and fun mid-century design to keep me engaged.” – Dave, Marketing Manager

An Uber Philly team favorite, Raw Sushi has the best Spotify playlist in the city and cocktails to match. On Wednesday happy hours in the summer, there’s great sushi specials and watermelon beer. Large canopies over top the lounge keep you in the shade, too. – Team Uber Philly

NORTHERN LIBERTIES | Las Cazuelas

Nothing is as sweet as well-priced Tequila margaritas, Rib Eye Puntas and watching the hipsters and blue collar firefighters share a beer at the bar down the street.” – Scott, Operations Coordinator

“This outdoor bar has great cocktails and you can eat Sampan appetizers at the same time since it is right next door.” – Brendan, Operations and Logistics Manager
