Thank you, Oklahoma!

Uber Oklahoma is here to stay!

You spoke and your legislators listened. Today, Governor Mary Fallin signed a bill that allows ridesharing to flourish across Oklahoma. The bill had overwhelming support from the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Please also join us in thanking the authors of the legislation, Representative Katie Henke and Senator Jason Smalley. They, along with many members of the Oklahoma House and Senate have positioned Oklahoma as a leader in modern transportation by embracing innovation, championing economic development and promoting consumer choice.

What’s in the bill:

  • Mandatory federal, state, and local background checks and a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol
  • $1 million primary insurance coverage for all rides
  • Reinforces consumer protection and safety features within ridesharing applications

Thank You, Uber Champions!

Last But Not Least, Thank You!

We also want to thank you, our riders. Your phone calls, emails, signatures, tweets and overall support empowered your elected officials to adopt smart, statewide regulations for ridesharing – solidifying a permanent home for Uber in Oklahoma.

Today, we are thrilled to say Uber On, Oklahoma!
