Uber + MADD a Big Way to Give Back During the Game

With The Game just hours away, Wolverine & Buckeye fans are gearing up for a Saturday filled with fun, football and good ol’ fashioned trash talk.

Whether you’re sporting scarlet & gray or maize & blue for this year’s game between The Ohio State University and That Team up North, Uber and Mothers Against Drunk Driving are teaming up to give long-time rivals something everyone can rally behind: safe, convenient rides.

As part of our commitment to better communities, Uber will donate $1 of every ride taken on Game Day, Saturday, November 28, that either starts or ends within three miles of The Shoe. This donation will support MADD’s efforts to combat drunk driving.

Uber is helping to cut drunk driving rates, like the 10 percent drop in Seattle. We’re proud to partner with MADD in making the Columbus area a safer place, too.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  • Leave your car at home and use Uber! We’ll donate $1 to MADD for each ride that either starts or ends within three miles of The Horseshoe.
  • Spread the word by telling your friends about our partnership. Don’t forget — when you ride with friends, fare splitting = fair splitting.

We’re trying not to play favorites. So instead of choosing a side, we’re partnering with MADD to give everyone something to brag about, regardless of who rings the Victory Bell.

Have fun & ride safe!
