Give to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital

It’s the most wonderful time of the year—and that means there’s no better time to give back to our community. In the spirit of the season, we are getting involved to help gather donations for the UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital Donation Drop Off Day. This Saturday, December 10, use your Uber app to donate toys, crafts, clothing, gift cards that will benefit patients of Rainbow.

On Saturday, December 10, get your donations ready and we’ll take care of the rest.

  1. Gather new items that you are willing to donate
  2. Open your Uber app between 1pm-3pm on Saturday, December 10
  3. Request the “GIVE” option
  4. If you’re connected, a driver will arrive to pick up your donations and deliver them to Rainbow at no cost

  • Drivers will arrive at your requested pickup location. Please keep in mind drivers can’t leave vehicles unattended—we ask that you bring your donations out to meet your driver when they arrive.
  • Demand may be high so please be patient!

“This joyous time of year can be difficult for families with loved ones in the hospital. We are grateful to our friends and partners like Uber for volunteering time and donating resources to help make this holiday season special for our patients and their families.” Debbie Lewis, Manager, Strategic Community Initiatives, University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital

Not sure what to donate? View Rainbow’s wish list for some inspiration.

If you are unable to donate through the Uber app, you can still help by bringing your donations directly to Rainbow on December 10 between 11am-4pm.

Happy holidays!
