Columbus uberX Rider Zero: Mark Titus

To kick off our launch of uberX and two weeks of FREE rides, Club Trillion founder, former OSU basketball walk-on, and overall man of the people, Mark Titus, was the first to take uberX for a spin in the Buckeye State. Previously known for riding the bench, Titus is now famous for grabbing the most reliable and cheapest ride in town.

The athlete turned ESPN Grantland writer, fired up his Uber app, pushed a button, and within a few minutes had snared the first uberX in Columbus.

At prices 25% cheaper than a local taxi, Mark can now focus on saving a few bucks rather than dropping dimes in an open gym somewhere.  He’s especially pumped that we are hooking everyone in Columbus up with 5 free rides (up to $25 each) until March 11th.  Don’t worry, even after the free promo ends, uberX will be better, faster, and cheaper than a taxi.

To spread the Uber love, we are selecting our favorite #CBUSuberX tweet and hooking up a lucky someone with a signed copy of Titus’ book Don’t Put Me In Coach.
