Sure, there’s Little Italy in Manhattan, but if you really want to salute the Italians in honor of Christopher Columbus’s heritage, take an Uber to The Bronx’s Arthur Avenue. Here you’ll find the real deal—the finest cannolis, aranchinis, fresh pasta, and tiramisu in the city. Spend a day picking out pastries and egg noodles, then stop in to one of the many local restaurants for a hearty Italian meal.

Oktoberfest is happening each weekend until October 26. Get the details here.
