As we roll into the third weekend of August, it’s hard not to feel the presence of looming post-Labor Day blues. Rather than sitting back and letting August pass us by in a blink of an eye, stay busy, get out, and go explore/see/eat/watch/do. This weekend it’s all about picnics, fireworks, soccer, and people flying over our heads (keep reading). Happy weekending!

Looking to do something different this weekend? Part theater performance, part Blue Man Group, and part hipster rave, the current installment of long-running Fuerza Bruta has a lot going on. Starting the moment you step in the warehouse-like space, the lights are dimmed and you’re hit with Brazilian beats, flying actors, and what could be described as effects of a tropical storm—fog, flashing lights, and rain. Popular among tourists and locals alike, WAYRA Fuerza Bruta offers a great option for anyone interested in experiencing something out of the norm.

This weekend kicks off the start of the Premier League season with the first game starting bright and early at 7:45am on Saturday. The EPL schedule is packed this weekend, and so will be all the pubs showing the games. For those looking to get raucous with the hooligans, here are a few spots to go grab a pint (depending on who you’re rooting for):
- Smithfield NYC – Go here if you plan on rooting for Manchester United
- O’Casey’s – Official Tottenham bar
- 11th Street Bar – NYC’s Liverpool Supporters Club
- Blind Pig – Go Arsenal!
- Mr. Dennehy’s – The bar is an official Everton supporter, but the owner himself is an Arsenal fan—as a result, “All are welcome here.”
ARRIVE IN STYLE: Show your true colors as a die-hard Premier League fan and ride an Uber Club Car to the pub this weekend! You can be picked up in a club-decorated MINI Countryman and get a FREE ride up to 30 minutes today through Sunday. Find all the details here.

A little over a year ago, we set out to put a new spin on an old classic–make reliable food delivery available at the tap of a button. Back then, we started by offering food in the UberEATS app from 1,000 pioneering restaurant partners in four cities. And today, more than 40,000 restaurants globally–from poke shops to pasta spots–are sharing food with customers through UberEATS. With a growing restaurant community comes more choices and more complexity. So we’re cooking up features to continue to make UberEATS easy and reliable. Here is a taste–
