Pro Tip: How to Uber to and from the Big Game

Hey Football Fans! We hear there’s a pretty BIG game coming to town this Sunday. Due to rules and restrictions, Uber partner drivers will not be permitted to drop off or pickup at the stadium.

Still want to ride in style part of the way? Here’s what you can do:


Take an Uber to Secaucus Junction Station. From there, take the NJ Transit for $4 to MetLife Stadium. It’s about a 10-minute train ride, and it will get you directly to the stadium.


Take the train from the stadium to Secaucus Junction Station. There is no cost to take the train from the stadium to Secaucus Junction Station. Once you get to Secaucus, open your app and request an Uber to take you the rest of the way.


  • Can I take an Uber directly to the game? No.

  • Can I take an Uber directly home from the game? No.

  • If I want to make Uber part of my trip what should I do? Use the Secaucus Junction Station as a dropoff or pickup point.
