Meet Adam: Operations & Logistics Manager

Undeniably the most polite member of the NYC team, Adam has been hard at work making sure Uber is reliable no matter where or when you’re looking to find a car. He’s well-traveled, well-spoken, and although he’s the definition of professionalism in the office, we know he’s also a bit of a party animal. Read on for more about Adam!

In one word: Adventurous

Grew up in: A little bit of everywhere. I was born in Boston, moved to Munich, Germany, and then London. I finally came full circle for University back in the US.

Current NYC Neighborhood: Tribeca, which can be stroller central at times, so I guess my flat of six guys is a bit of a rarity down there. That said, it has all the subway lines, lots of restaurants, and is a few minutes from the river – almost everything one could want living in the city!

When I’m not working I love to just take a leisurely walk around the city and stop off at my favorite spots. Living in New York you are always in a rush, so it’s nice to slow things down and really enjoy the city, whether it’s gallery hopping or exploring Central Park.

Favorite Internet meme: Much doge. Very like.

Typical Uber ride: Would be me running terribly late to meet my friends out somewhere and requesting an uberX to help make up some time.

My ultimate vacation getaway would consist of going to any mountain range during the winter – I am dying to go skiing in Japan though. I have Swiss cousins and started skiing with them when I was really young, and have been addicted ever since.

NYC Favs…

Brunch spot: Definitely Egg in Williamsburg. It’s no fuss and reasonably priced. Also, if there’s a wait it’s right around the corner from Blue Bottle for a caffeine fix.

Season: Winter (given ski passion mentioned above), but it’s tough to beat a sunny, brisk autumn day.

Museum or historical site: Any contemporary art museum. So the MOMA, Whitney, New Museum, etc.

Spot to chill and watch the sunset: 100% the Wythe hotel. It has one of best views of Manhattan and the drinks are great.

Fun fact: Adam’s celeb crush is Emma Watson (who could blame him?).
