Gone are the days of waiting in long lines at the post office; just collect your items together with your receipt and return label, request RETURNS, and we’ll do the rest—at Uber speed.
To get started, enter promo code RETURNS, and for just $4 per pickup, RETURNS will take care of getting your unwanted items shipped off quickly and seamlessly.
HOW IT WORKS
- Enter promo code RETURNS to unlock the RETURNS option in your app
- Gather your items to be returned, along with anything else the retailer requires for refunds (e.g., shipping label, receipt, special packaging)
- Set your pickup address and request RETURNS
- Upon arrival, hand off your package to your messenger, and watch in real-time as your return makes its way to its destination.
- Each RETURNS pickup costs just $4 flat
- RETURNS will be available in Manhattan below 110th Street
- Available 7 days/week, 8am–8pm
What types of items can be returned?
Anything you’ve purchased online where the retailer provides a free return, and that is still within the delivery window set by the retailer (usually 30 days, but sometimes less). As long as you have the packing slip that came with your package, a printed shipping label, and any information required by the retailer, we can return it for you. We do require that items are packaged; however, RETURNS messengers will be equipped with spare shipping bags and tape in the event you are unable to package the item fully.
Is there a limit to how many items or packages can be returned?
There’s no limit! We charge a flat fee of $4 for each return you need to make, but the number of items or packages you can return is limited only by the length of your shopping spree, or the bag size of our UberRUSH courier.
Is there a size limit to what I can return?
Yes. Unfortunately, our couriers are restricted to medium-sized items; the size that a bike messenger would be able to reasonably carry. Pillows, clothes and medium-sized appliances (like coffee makers) are fine, but your plasma screen TV will be a bit too large.
Can I return items to stores in New York?
Unfortunately not. Because in-store retail returns often require additional proof of purchase, we’re only able to return e-commerce purchases to postal and shipping facilities, where they will be shipped directly back to the retailer.
Whether you’re a freshman or a senior headed back to campus this fall, one thing is certain—you’ll need to eat. And there is nothing worse than being limited to questionable cafeteria food or taking a chance on expired leftovers in the back of the fridge. The best news? UberEATS is expanding to 30+ major college campuses by the end of the year, from Penn State to LSU to Boise State. Since we want you to focus on what you love about college and not worry about your next meal, we’re predicting the 5 times you’ll need to order UberEATS this semester.
We are excited to surpass the 100th city mark by welcoming two Brazilian cities, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, to the UberEATS family. Whether that’s an Indian inspired samosa, a good old-fashioned American burger or Vietnamese pho, people in 27 countries are using UberEATS to get a taste of the world’s flavors at the push of a button.
We’re excited to expand the Uber for Business platform beyond business travel, to include a world-class customer transportation solution, Uber Central.
