We know returns can be a hassle. That’s why, for a limited time, we’re bringing you RETURNS, powered by UberRUSH—a dedicated service for returning all of your pre-paid e-commerce purchases.

Beginning today, you’ll be able to use RETURNS to quickly and conveniently return your pre-paid items, saving you time and making it easier for you to send back your unwanted online purchases. Gone are the days of waiting in long lines at the post office; just collect your items together with your receipt and return label, request RETURNS, and we’ll do the rest—at Uber speed.

  2. Gather your items to be returned, along with anything else the retailer requires for refunds (e.g., shipping label, receipt, special packaging)
  3. Set your pickup address and request RETURNS
  4. Upon arrival, hand off your package to your messenger, and watch in real-time as your return makes its way to its destination.

What types of items can be returned?
Anything you’ve purchased online where the retailer provides a free return, and that is still within the delivery window set by the retailer (usually 30 days, but sometimes less). As long as you have the packing slip that came with your package, a printed shipping label, and any information required by the retailer, we can return it for you. We do require that items are packaged; however, RETURNS messengers will be equipped with spare shipping bags and tape in the event you are unable to package the item fully.

Is there a limit to how many items or packages can be returned?
There’s no limit! We charge a flat fee of $4 for each return you need to make, but the number of items or packages you can return is limited only by the length of your shopping spree, or the bag size of our UberRUSH courier.

Is there a size limit to what I can return?
Yes. Unfortunately, our couriers are restricted to medium-sized items; the size that a bike messenger would be able to reasonably carry. Pillows, clothes and medium-sized appliances (like coffee makers) are fine, but your plasma screen TV will be a bit too large.

Can I return items to stores in New York?
Unfortunately not. Because in-store retail returns often require additional proof of purchase, we’re only able to return e-commerce purchases to postal and shipping facilities, where they will be shipped directly back to the retailer.
