New Jersey has gained a reputation as a soccer-mecca on the East Coast and today we’re proud to congratulate our 4 local soccer heroes—Tobin Heath, Heather O’Reilly, Christie Rampone, and Carli Lloyd, the hat-trick-hero of the World Championship match—for their roles in bringing a World Championship back to the United States. Today Uber New Jersey joins New York City in honoring these members of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team as they celebrate reclaiming the title as World Champions and furthering the sport in our youth and adult athletic communities.

The team, led by our very own Lloyd, will march in a ticker-tape parade down the Canyon of Heroes in front of thousands of soccer fans. It will be the first time the parade honors an all female sports team. Lloyd and her teammates’ performance in the final match drew more viewers than any other American soccer match in our country’s history and their victory lap up Broadway will be a historic event that is sure to inspire a new generation of soccer fans in New Jersey’s backyard.

Uber NJ congratulates our local U.S. soccer heroes who grew up carving their soccer skills right here on New Jersey turf, and we’re excited to play a part in driving future NJ soccer stars and their families to soccer practices, camps, games, and championships.

If you want to know how you can get in on the celebration, read more here. Don’t forget to sport your red, white, and blue!
