Let’s Help Ken Save His Home
This week, we heard an incredible story about one of our brave and selfless partners: Ken.
Ken, a 69-year-old driver who lives in Livonia, is battling stage 4 cancer. His doctors have told him it’s time to head to hospice. Instead, Ken continues to work, driving as many Uber riders as he can, to earn enough so his daughter and two grandchildren can continue to live in his house after he is gone.
Ken is part of our community – and we’re proud to call him our partner. Right now, he needs a helping a hand.
Yesterday, Uber made a $5,000 donation to Ken’s home fund and we’re donating $1 more for every rider who enters the code UberPartnerKen in their app for a ride before April 20. In the last 24 hours, Ken’s home fund went from just $2,000 to over $17,000!
UPDATE: Ken has reached his goal to pay off this home. Ken has retired from partnering with Uber so he can spend time with his family during the next few weeks.
We’re humbled by the continued support for Ken and thank everyone who shared Ken’s story and contributed to his fund.

And today, more than 40,000 restaurants globally–from poke shops to pasta spots–are sharing food with customers through UberEATS. With a growing restaurant community comes more choices and more complexity. So we’re cooking up features to continue to make UberEATS easy and reliable. Here is a taste–
