Welcoming Ed Davis to the Uber Boston Family

Ed Davis

From the moment you request a ride to the moment you arrive, the Uber experience has been designed from the ground up with the safety of our riders in mind. While technology helps ensure the speed, dependability, and safety of rides, people matter most to the Uber experience. With that in mind, Uber Boston is proud to welcome former Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis to the Uber family as a senior advisor.

Ed is one of the most knowledgeable and respected law enforcement experts in the United States. We are excited to tap into his expertise and seek his advice as we continue to raise the bar for safety and quality in the transportation industry.

Ed exemplifies the meaning of public service. With over 35 years of experience in law enforcement, serving in both Lowell and Boston, Ed’s career has been committed to keeping our streets and communities safe. In 2013, Commissioner Davis oversaw the police response to the Boston Marathon bombings.

We are committed to ensuring Uber is a safe and reliable way to get around Massachusetts, and we are constantly working on new ways to make the Uber experience the best possible for both our riders and driver-partners. With leaders like Ed Davis joining our efforts, we are confident Uber Boston will continue to innovate and advance our technology that has changed the way we move around our state.

We’re excited to welcome him aboard Team Uber Boston and look forward to building an even greater Uber together.
