Help Keep Uber in Boston!

Boston Needs Uber

This Monday, December 1, the Boston City Council is holding a hearing on Transportation Regulations, and could explore steps to make it difficult for Bostonians to access safe and affordable rides through the Uber app.

To ensure your continued access to the Uber you know and love, we need your help!

Our riders have some of the most powerful voices. That’s why our elected officials need to see and hear from you to understand what Uber means to Boston. Here are THREE ways you can help!

1) Join us at the hearing! RSVP to let us know you can come.

The hearing will take place in the Christopher Iannella Chamber, fifth floor, of Boston City Hall, 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02201. We will be meeting outside in City Hall Square at 12:30PM for coffee and donuts before heading into the Chamber.

2) Submit your testimony to the Boston City Council!

Share how Uber has helped you:

  • Get to doctor’s appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies reliably
  • Return home safely after dinner or a night out with friends
  • Access parts of the city that are underserved by existing transit options affordably
  • Empower small business owners and entrepreneurs who utilize Uber’s technology to make a living

Feel free to send it via email to city.council@cityofboston.gov or submit it in person at City Hall. You can also fax it to: (617) 635-4203 or send via snail mail.

3) Tweet at the Boston City Council and let them know #BostonNeedsRidesharing!
