Off the Beaten Path & On Trend: Pilsen

Chicago, the time is now. Temperatures are still warm, the sun is shining, and most importantly, it’s Labor Day Weekend. We have three days—let’s explore this great city of ours. Begin your journey with a list of our favorite picks in the ‘hood that is home to a thriving art scene and bountiful restaurants.

Show your Uber ride receipt at any of these participating venues to take advantage of the offers listed below. The offers will be valid throughout the long weekend, from Friday to Monday.

Take a ride to the Pilsen and explore the myriad of local shops, restaurants, and cultural establishments.

Only brewed in two cities in the world, Lagunitas is one of Chicago’s favorite breweries. Visit and receive a free tour.

There’s a reason Dusek’s is consistently packed—it’s damn good. Receive a free ‘beermosa’ with each receipt.

Dia De Los Tamales
Authentic tamales? Yes, please. Enjoy a free dessert tamale with any order above $10.

Honky Tonk BBQ

Now this is a deal. Each rider will receive a Hibiscus Margarita.

Kristoffer’s Cafe & Bakery
Rick Bayless crowns this dessert shop as one of his favorites, and we couldn’t agree more. Drop in for a free slice of the tres leches cake—hurry, it goes fast!

Check out our Instagram on Sunday. We’ll be giving away a day in Pilsen to one lucky pair—complete with a free ride to and from the neighborhood, lunch for two at Dusek’s, a private tour of Lagunitas, and more.
