Ride On Mother’s Day & Support Local Moms

It’s often said that mothering is the world’s toughest job. So with Mother’s Day just around the corner, we’d like to do our part to assist Atlanta mothers who need a little help. With that in mind, Team Uber ATL is proud to donate a portion of all proceeds from rides taken on Mother’s Day to The Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence, an organization that works to meet the needs of battered women and their children in and around Atlanta.

Riding With Mom

We’d also like to shine a light on some of the hard-working moms who partner with us to help move Atlantans around the city safely and conveniently. Read on to learn a little bit more about these wonderful women and their experiences as Uber partners.

Tricia: My children are the reason why I Uber! Uber has been great for our family – my husband started on uberX, then I came on with UberBLACK. Uber has been life-changing for our children. They were so excited when we told them that they would be able to go back to private school. Because of Uber, it is now affordable for us to send them! There was no greater joy than to hear those screams and see the happiness in their eyes! Thanks for coming to Atlanta and for helping my kids get a better education! Uber on!

Jennifer: Driving for Uber gives me the ability to work on my own schedule. I love being able to spend time with my kids when I need to, while also earning what I need to help provide for them.

Shondricka: I am a mother of two and being partnered with Uber has been wonderful. Recently I had to take my daughter to the doctor because she was sick. I love the fact that I didn’t have to ask my boss if it was OK to leave for the day. The flexibility with Uber is the best thing ever and the possibilities are endless.

So thanks for riding with us, ATL. And thanks for helping so many local women continue excelling at the world’s toughest job.

Love,

Your Friendly ATL Community Managers
