Tampa Bay Riders Score a Copy of Madden NFL 16

Uber announced yesterday that it was teaming up with EA SPORTS to deliver the new Madden NFL 16 for Xbox One to NFL fans in Tampa Bay a day before its release date—for FREE.

As if that wasn’t enough, several fans had their copy of Madden—and one Xbox One console—delivered by local fan-favorite, and NFL Hall of Famer, Derrick Brooks.

Based on the number of requests we saw yesterday, Madden on-demand appears to have become new Tampa Bay favorite. We’re not sure if fans were more excited to receive the game or shake Derrick Brooks’ hand, but either way we had a blast making our riders’ Mondays just a little more exciting. Below, we’ve compiled a few of our favorite tweets from the promotion.

@Uber_Florida THANK YOU for my Xbox One! Got it all setup!
– James Anderson (@jamand87)

@Uber_Florida @DBrooks55 @NFL I don’t need a ride anywhere but I want to win this from Derrick.
– Brittany Wiatrak (@BritFunTravel)

No better way to beat those Monday back-to-work blues than with a free copy of Madden ’16 from @Uber_Florida.
– Anthony Cobb (@AnthonyJCobb)

Playoff hockey tickets, ice cream, and now Madden NFL 16. Uber will continue to find ways to surprise and delight its Tampa Bay riders at the touch of a button.
