Pirate Pro Tips
We set sail for the festival this weekend, so read on for smooth sailing!
Lots of buccaneers, lads, and lasses will need rides, and we’re here to be the most reliable option in town. Get outfitted with all the knowledge you’ll need to get around safely and conveniently.
Dynamic pricing allows us to remain reliable, even on one of the busiest days of the year. Our rates will change in real time with fluctuations in supply and demand. Increased rates incentivize more driver partners to get on the road and ensure that those who need a ride won’t be left stranded.
PIRATE PRO TIPS
As you finalize your festival plans, keep in mind that this weekend will be one of those rare evenings when every pirate wants to ride at the same time.
- Get a fare estimate. No surprises before requesting a ride.
- Split ye fare with ye mateys. Share the cost with your friends in the car.
- Call or text your driver to agree on a pickup location and avoid road closures.
- We’ll let you know when demand has settled. Send yourself a notification.
- Lost your eyepatch or pirate’s booty? Get in touch with your driver at riders.uber.com/lost.

A little over a year ago, we set out to put a new spin on an old classic–make reliable food delivery available at the tap of a button.
