Blue Watch

You asked:

How much time does uberPOOL add to my trip?

We answered:

Over the last 5 weeks, riders who were paired with other riders on their uberPOOL trips only added an average of 4-5 minutes to their total trip time and have saved an average of $4 per trip in the process.

Blue Watch

You asked:

If you put your address in the app in advance, can your driver choose not to pick you up?

We answered:

Your driver doesn’t see your destination in the Uber Partner app until you are in the car and he or she starts the trip.

Blue Dollar Sign

You asked:

What’s the real price difference between uberX and uberPOOL?

We answered:

uberPOOL is always cheaper than uberX—regardless of when and where you ride.

Like uberX, surge pricing applies to uberPOOL trips. Even when surge pricing is in effect, uberPOOL is up to 50% less than uberX at any given time. You’ll always receive a guaranteed fare before requesting—you always know exactly what you’ll pay before you ride.

Fun fact: The most a rider has ever saved on an uberPOOL trip was $47.02.
