The Ubercade is Back – and Bigger Than Ever
DC residents know the presidential motorcade all too well — it’s tough to miss a procession of thirty sleek black vehicles passing by. And while we’ve all gotten stuck in the inevitable traffic diversions, the excitement of seeing the motorcade just never gets old.
From 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. TODAY, it’s your turn to be on the other side of the glass, with a chance to roll around town in your very own motorcade – the Ubercade!
What’s an Ubercade?
It’s a line up of three black vehicles carrying and escorting an Uber rider: YOU! And while it may not come with armored doors or a police escort, heads will surely turn as you ride around town with three sleek Cadillacs – one DTS flanked by two luxe Escalades – and your very own “Uber Secret Service Agents.” Check out what happened when we launched Ubercade in DC two years ago below!
Feeling lucky? Here’s how to request:
- Open your Uber app
- Request the Black Car option (as usual) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Some riders will receive one of FIVE Ubercades rolling around town at random — the more you ride, the better your chances.
