Rock and Roll Out to Freefest with Uber

Virgin Mobile Freefest has finally arrived! And while you’re getting prepped to enjoy this year’s star-studded line-up, you may be wondering just how you’ll get all the way out there for the show…

Uber’s got you covered
with a $150 SUV flat rate to Freefest!

Exclusively for Freefest, Uber is offering a $150 flat rate (each way) for SUV trips between Merriweather Post Pavilion and any location within the Beltway! Simply open up the Uber app, request using the SUV option, and the flat rate will automatically apply once you’ve arrived.

Here are a few more tips to make sure your Uber experience is a big hit:

  • SPLIT YOUR FARE
Rolling deep is rolling cheap. Whether you opt for the SUV flat rate or arrive in an UberBLACK or uberX (regular fares apply), grab your friends and split the fare.

  • PAUSE FOR THE ENCORE
There will be more vehicles available than usual from Merriweather, but do keep in mind that supply will still be limited. Please be patient when making your requests, and if you don’t succeed at first, wait just a bit and try again!

  • MIC CHECK, ONE TWO
Confirming you’re with the right driver is especially important during busy times. Use the information given in the app the make sure your driver’s license plate number and name are correct before taking your ride.

  • SPREAD THE LOVE
Have friends who are new to Uber? They can sign up with promo code FREEFEST to receive $20 off their first uberX, UberBLACK, or UberSUV ride any time before September 30.

Ride on,

P.S. Coming from Baltimore? Not to worry! SUV trips between downtown Baltimore and Merriweather will have a flat rate of $125.
