Your Game Day Guide

It’s all coming down to Game 5. Are you headed to the sold out game? Here are a few tips and tricks to make sure your game day experience is error free.

After the game, exit the stadium and head towards our suggested pick up areas highlighted in the app. Your smoothest pickups will be at the intersections of N Street SE and New Jersey Ave SE, or Half Street SE and L Street SE.

With upfront fares in the app, you’ll always know what you’re paying before you request. No surprises or complicated math—you can decide what’s best for you and your budget.

Pro-tip: To avoid the highest fares, head to the ballpark early or hangout at the bullpen for some post-game fun before requesting.

Use fare split if you’re riding with a crew or take uberPOOL—our low cost carpooling option—if it’s just you and a friend who want to catch a ride with other fans.

Keep in mind, the streets will be crowded. Confirm your driver’s car model and license plate in the app before you hop in your ride. And if you’re still not sure, you can always text or call your driver.

Let your friends know when to expect you at the pre-game. Send trip details—which includes your estimated time of arrival as well as your driver’s name and vehicle information—to anyone of your contacts directly through the app.

And most importantly, don’t forget that the team is encouraging fans to wear red for home playoff games. So be sure to be #RedAllOver!
