Introducing Your New Reward Zones

We have loved hearing your feedback on Earnings Boost and are always looking to improve the program for you. In fact, we are making some changes to help you to take advantage of high demand in the DC area!

We will now feature multiple Reward Zones instead of one. These new zones reflect where we have seen the highest demand for Uber, and high demand means more trips and more earnings for you. When you sign online, you’ll see the guaranteed Earnings Boost rewards available for trips that begin in each of the new zones.

We will still be sending you information about your status and the Reward Zones each week, but be sure to check out your partner app for the most up-to-date information on the hottest zones!

How do I find the best reward zones to drive in?

Keep an eye on your partner app! The most up-to-date information on the hottest zones and highest rewards can be found on the live map when you are online.

Does my Status still apply?

Yes! There will be no changes to how you receive or upgrade your Status. Like before, you’re in control of which rewards you receive based on the number of trips you take per week.

How will I get paid?

Payment for Status rewards is staying the same! You’ll see your Status payout in-app, after each trip. These trips will be paid out and shown in your payment statement on the following week, just like normal trips..

How does it work with surge?

You’re still always guaranteed the highest payout. That means, if surge is greater than the guarantee, you’ll always get the highest of the two. If surge is 2.2x but your guarantee is 1.6x, you’ll receive the surge fare of 2.2x!

What’s the catch?

There’s no catch. No trips per hour, acceptance rate, or completion rate requirements. Just drive in the new Reward Zones to receive the corresponding guarantees!
