Uber Taxi Update: Green Light for Summer
Uber Faithful,
In an emergency session of the District of Columbia Taxi Commission (DCTC) held this morning, DCTC unanimously voted to modify its taxi regulations and delay any changes to technology companies like Uber until September 1. Because of these changes, we can now definitively say that UberTaxi will not close on June 1.
Although we’re not out of the woods yet and sedan regulations that raise real concerns are still looming, we are committed to doing everything we can to ensure that you can enjoy Uber in DC for many years to come.
