Celebrating Partners Like You

Join us on April 20th, from 6-8pm at the Uber DC headquarters as we celebrate our deaf and hard of hearing driver partners.

Last year, we launched new app features for our deaf and hard of hearing driver-partners to make it easier to see trip requests and connect with riders. This year, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re partnering with a leading nonprofit, Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD), to invest in the deaf and hard of hearing community on a national level. The unemployment and underemployment rate is over 70% in the deaf and hard of hearing community. Together, we’re working with CSD to reduce this number and empower more people to earn a flexible living.
