Can you believe it’s already mid-October? Even though summer has officially ended, the number of #UberApproved events hasn’t slowed down a bit. James Beard Foundation’s Taste America: This who’s who of chef’s event kicks off with food trucks on Friday as an amuse bouche and progresses to a seated dinner. Saturday is a day filled with free culinary events at Sur La Table for those looking for a more low key event.

Bel-Air Film Festival: 43 films will be screened at the festival including 16 World Premiere Films. The festival is also honoring Rumor Willis and Jayson Blair in the film “In Sickness and in Health” which not to be missed.

Walt Disney Concert Hall 10th Anniversary: Walt Disney Concert Hall burst upon the scene 10 years ago as an architectural masterpiece and acoustical marvel.
