Santa Rosa and Sonoma, Your Uber is arriving now!

Good grief, we’re expanding quickly. Just last month we broke ground in Napa, and today we’re pleased to announce our arrival in Santa Rosa and the City of Sonoma.

To commemorate our launch in California’s Cornucopia, we’re taking a trip with Charlie Brown’s best friend. As our Rider Zero, Snoopy will vacate his usual seat atop a Zamboni and go for a ride in an uberX. The Peanuts pup will depart the Charles M. Schulz Museum today at 12:30 p.m. and visit the Santa Rosa Convention & Visitor’s Bureau before returning to the Ice Arena for cookies, root beer and a well-deserved rest.

After Snoopy’s inaugural trip, everyone in Santa Rosa and Sonoma is welcome to ride. New to Uber? Download the app and enter the promotion code below for $20 off your first Uber ride.

Now that safe, reliable uberX rides are available in Santa Rosa and Sonoma, there’s no need to worry about who’s driving this weekend. Whether you’re grabbing a pint at a brewing company, raising a glass at a local winery or skating at Snoopy’s Home Ice — Uber’s got you covered.

HOW TO USE UBER

  • Download Uber via the App Store
  • Sign up and enter SNOOPY in the promotions menu
  • Set your pickup location and request a ride
  • When your driver arrives, tell them where you’re headed
  • Everything’s paid for through the app — no need for cash

If you see Snoopy, share your #SnoopyRiderZero story on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

With this launch, you can request a ride nearly everywhere from Santa Cruz to Santa Rosa on the Northern California Coast. For those of you in cities we haven’t visited yet, keep your ear to the grapevine — we’re not slowing down anytime soon.
