Uber + Bon Appétit Grub Crawl

Eat, drink, and crawl your way to a delicious Saturday in SF.

On November 8, we’re partnering with Bon Appétit for its 3rd annual Grub crawl in San Francisco.

The moveable feast will take your tastebuds on a tour of two of our favorite foodie neighborhoods, Hayes Valley and the Mission. From the cantina-style eateries and cocktails in Hayes, to wood-fired pizza and hand-picked wine in the Mission, this Saturday will be a delight for any San Franciscan with a peripatetic palette and a sense of culinary adventure.

Tickets are on sale for both the afternoon and evening sessions. If you still need convincing, check out the tasty lineups below (click on the names for more info):

La Urbana brings cantina-style food and cutting-edge design to the Divisadero Corridor neighborhood. Executive chef Julio “Papi” Aguilera excites the palate with a menu of contemporary Mexican cuisine, along with over 30 different varieties of artisanal mezcal.

Souvla is a fast-casual sandwich shop in the heart of San Francisco’s Hayes Valley, inspired by the neighborhood souvlaki joints found throughout Greece. Souvla offers diners an approachable, flavorful menu of traditional Greek specialties with a California twist.

Inspired by two sisters and their love of world travel, Two Sisters Bar and Books is a warm, welcoming space where there is always time to linger over a classic cocktail or a comforting cup of coffee, nosh on a well-crafted dish, or delight in all things literary.

The acclaimed Boxing Room offers the classic Cajun and Creole dishes of New Orleans and coastal Louisiana made with local, seasonal ingredients from executive chef Justin Simoneaux, along with a beverage program highlighting small-production wines and microbrews.

With a name meaning “farm” in Japanese, this unique neighborhood restaurant sources high quality, seasonal ingredients from ranches and farms across the Bay Area. Nojo offers diners Japanese style skewers and creative small plates in a relaxed and lively environment.

This Mission District hot spot is actually two concepts: the Tacolicious side offers a smorgasbord of traditional Mexican food and a retractable roof-enclosed outdoor seating area, while the adjacent Mosto is a cozy tequila bar with seasonally-changing snacks.

This popular café and roaster sources and brews the best beverages in an honest and ethical manner. Since the original Mission District location opened in 2008, several more outposts have popped up around the Bay Area. Sip your favorite caffeinated drinks and enjoy a selection of artisan bites provided by Tartine Bakery.

A contemporary pâtisserie located in San Francisco’s vibrant Mission District, Craftsman and Wolves offers an ever-changing menu of breakfast pastries, cakes, confections, desserts, and savory fare under the direction of celebrated chef William Werner.

St. Vincent Tavern and Wine Merchant is a popular wine-centric restaurant and retailer, where chef Bill Niles crafts a daily-changing Californian menu with influences from all over the world to complement artisanal wines and craft beers curated by owner-sommelier David Lynch.

Enjoy a taste of all of Ne Timeas Restaurant Group’s hotspots on the block, Flour + Water, Central Kitchen, and Salumeria in their private space, The Upstairs. Executive Chef Thomas McNaughton showcases menus influenced by Italian traditions and Northern Californian inspirations sourcing California’s best ingredients.

We’re sure you’ll be too hungry before, and too satisfied afterward, to think about how you’re getting to and from the crawl, so let Uber take care of your ride.
