Two Free uberX Rides!
They say the best things in life are free. Here in Sacramento, our favorite frugal finds include samples from the Downtown Farmers’ Market, the priceless vistas near Lake Natoma along the American River Bike Trail, and $0 uberX rides all weekend long.
Yep, you heard that right — uberX, your favorite low-cost, high-quality ride, just got even cheaper. From Friday afternoon through the end of Sunday, you can enjoy two COMPLETELY FREE uberX rides.
Just enter the promo code SACLOVESuberX and ride wherever your heart desires.**
**Valid for two uberX trips up to $30 each from Friday, November 8 at 5 p.m. through Sunday, November 10 at 11:59 p.m. Rides must be taken in Sacramento.
How it works:
- Open your Uber app and you’ll see three vehicle options to choose from: uberX, UberBLACK, and UberSUV
- Toggle over to uberX to give it a try
- Set your pickup location and tap the “Request uberX” button
Since this is a limited-time offer, there will be high demand for uberX this weekend and it may take a few tries to get a car. We anticipate that everyone will be able to take advantage of their free trips, but — if you’re in a rush — remember that UberBLACK and UberSUV are always available to get you where you need to go.
Now that you’ve locked down a classy and cash-free ride, all that’s left to do is plan your weekend! Tweet @Uber_Sac using the hashtag #SACLOVESuberX and tell us what’s on tap for you and your friends.
We’re excited to launch Payment Rewards — a way to discover, track, and redeem rewards right in the Uber app. We’re kicking it off with Capital One®, where every 10th ride is free (up to $15) when you pay with a Quicksilver® or QuicksilverOne® card through March 2017.
Today, I’m excited to announce that Arianna Huffington will join Uber’s board. For those of us who know Arianna, it’s clear she knows a thing or two about being an entrepreneur. As the founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, she’s built one of the most successful, innovative media companies in the world… from scratch. […]
