The Uber SF Guide to Pride
San Francisco is a progressive city that celebrates individuality unlike any other, and we’re proud to call this place home. During PRIDE week, the celebration gets a little bigger, so we’re here to help you navigate the colors, streamers, parties and parades.
Check our tips for getting around with Uber SF’s definitive guide to 2014 PRIDE.
The House of Babes Dyke March After Party
Saturday, June 28, 7pm – 3am @ Public Works
People are still talking about last year’s House of Babes SF Pride party. We’ve heard some things about what they’re planning this time around, and this one isn’t to be missed. Come early and expect the hottest DJs and drink specials to last all night long.
Queen Dilly Dally’s Castro Pub Crawl
June 23 – July 7, 8pm – Midnight @ The Castro Neighborhood
When was the last time you were in the presence of royalty? Sign up for a pub crawl with Her Majesty Queen Dilly Dally, and feel the magic emanating from the Castro’s finest drinking establishments. She’ll school you on the rich history of the neighborhood in a night you surely won’t forget.
Dazzle, The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus’ Pride Concert
June 25, 26 and 27, 8pm @ Nourse Theatre
The voice of one gay man is good. The combined voices of 250 gay men are better. The combined voices of 250 gay men and Tony Award winner Laura Benanti is the best case scenario. That’s exactly what you’ll get if you take in one of the fabulous performances of Dazzle.
Juanita MORE! Pride Party 2014
Sunday, June 29, noon – 10pm @ 620 Jones
We’ve been waiting an entire decade for this one. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Juanita More! Pride Party, and Miss MORE has put together a lineup of entertainment that’ll keep you moving all day long. Proceeds will help support the AIDS Housing Alliance, so it’s not one to miss.
THE BEST PLACE TO REQUEST A RIDE
If PRIDE week passed you by — make up for it here. The SF Pride Parade, themed “Color Our World with Pride,” kicks off at 10:30 on Sunday morning at Market and Beale Streets. Join hundreds of thousands of people, getting together to celebrate love, diversity, happiness and everything else that makes PRIDE such a special part of San Francisco.
And keep an eye out for Uber in the parade! We’re not exactly sure where in the lineup we’ll be, but you can certainly expect some surprises. We love surprises.
THE #RIDEWITHPRIDE PLAYLIST
Coloring your world with pride is best enjoyed with a decent soundtrack. Whether you’re hosting the pre-party, attending an after-party, or just hanging out alone in your room (not recommended) — we advise a heavy-dose of feel-good music. Check the #RIDEWITHPRIDE playlist below:
PICTURE YOURSELF IN AN UBERX
During PRIDE, certain uberX cars will have a photo booth in the backseat. If you stumble on one of these special rides, make sure you snap some pictures and share them on Facebook & Twitter with the hashtag #RIDEWITHPRIDE. We can’t wait to see you out there!
We’re here to help you celebrate you. Wherever you’re headed this week, whether it’s from the Mission to the Marina, Chinatown to the Castro or anywhere else in the 7X7 — ride with PRIDE.

A little over a year ago, we set out to put a new spin on an old classic–make reliable food delivery available at the tap of a button. Back then, we started by offering food in the UberEATS app from 1,000 pioneering restaurant partners in four cities. And today, more than 40,000 restaurants globally–from poke shops to pasta spots–are sharing food with customers through UberEATS. With a growing restaurant community comes more choices and more complexity. So we’re cooking up features to continue to make UberEATS easy and reliable. Here is a taste–
