California Strawberry Festival Jam by Sweet Lady Cook

This weekend is the legendary California Strawberry Festival in Ventura County. Get ready to get your strawberry pickin’ on. Make sure to take an Uber to their designated shuttle stops— with over 50k people in attendance, parking will get sticky quickly. 

But what will you do with all of those strawberries? We’ve teamed up with Sweet Lady Cook, a Santa Barbara based company specializing in seasonal, small batch preserves to teach you how to put those strawberries to good use!

 Strawberry Jam by Sweet Lady Cook 


4 cups diced strawberries (about 3 pints)
2 cups sugar
Juice from 1 small lemon
2 tsp. Pomona’s Universal Pectin
2 tsp. calcium water
Makes about 5, 8oz. jars.
