Stanford and Santa Clara, Puppies Are Arriving Now!

Oh, college. Those were the days! Finals week, though… that was a dark time.

We feel your pain, Stanford and Santa Clara University students. Never fear, a furry, stress-relief solution is headed to your campus. This Sunday, puppies are on the way!

  • Download the Uber app for iPhone or Android
  • Between 12pm – 3pm on June 8, request the PUPPIES option via your app at Stanford or Santa Clara University
  • If furry friends are available, you and your classmates will enjoy 20 minutes of play time
  • Please request PUPPIES outdoors — these woofers need room to play
  • There’s no cash required — though a $20 donation is suggested

We’re teaming up with the wonderful people at the Northern California Family Dog Rescue to bring you these playful pups. If you’re interested in adoption, speak to one of the representatives on-site. Even if you can’t take one home, we suggest a $20 donation — and we’ll match every dollar that’s contributed. Puppy handlers will be able to accept donations through the app.

Some of these pups will be coming to your campus. Click down on the names to read more!

Currently, my best friend is a tennis ball, but I’d be open to letting a few other folks into my life. I like bones, beaches and baseball (well, eating them, anyway). Take me home with you!

We’re going to Stanford or Santa Clara? But I haven’t even been to puppy school yet. I guess there’s no time like the present. Adopt me, I want to rush Kappa Kappa Gamma!

I recently won “most likely to tear the fluff out of a stuffed animal” at Northern California Family Dog Rescue’s annual pageant. The trophy is currently in the back of my kennel, but I’d consider moving it to a new home.

Some of the other pups don’t like it, but boy — do I love a good bubble bath. There’s just something about a deep-shampooing that just really gets me going. If you adopt me, I promise I’ll wipe my paws on the mat before coming in!

I love nothing more than lying around and watching movies. That flick about dogs traveling across the country to find their owner is entertaining, but a bowl of puppy chow and a good rom-com is what I call a solid Friday night. Interested? Let’s find some time to chat.

Have you ever heard the term “lap dog?” That’s what I’m about. I also like lying in the sun, chasing after birds (it’s really unfair that they can fly) and politics. I’ve been leaning toward the left recently, but I think going home with you could make me right.

These puppies need homes, so share your furtastic photos on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook with the hashtag #UberPUPPIES.

Don’t let that be the reason you’re kept on the leash. Download Uber and and enter the promotion code below for $20 off your first ride.

These cute little canines will be in very high demand, and availability will be limited. If you don’t get a snuggle partner on your first try, please be patient. We’ll be working all day to make sure puppies come to relieve some of that finals week stress.

So take your nose out of that biology book this Sunday; leave the library for 20 minutes — #UberPUPPIES are on the way.
