Meet Gonzalo Guzman, owner of San Francisco’s Nopalito restaurant, an UberEATS favorite.
We sat down with Gonzalo to talk about Nopalito as he readies for Small Business Saturday®, the day following Black Friday, when consumers are encouraged to go local.
How did you get your start in the restaurant industry?
By accident. As an immigrant from Mexico, restaurants were the only option for me.
If you could eat one thing off your menu for the rest of your life what would it be?
The fish tacos!
What excites you about the food in San Francisco right now?
Freshness and simplicity.

Everything’s made in house. I love every person who works in it. And consistency.
