For the next week, your Uber rides will help educate our future leaders right here in the Bay Area.
We’ve partnered with Dreamforce in support of their One Million Books initiative—the largest book drive in history—collecting more than 1 million books for K-12 students.
When you take a ride during Dreamforce, we’ll donate $1 to the cause.
HOW IT WORKS
- Open the Uber app, and click PROMOTIONS under the left-hand menu.
- Enter the code DFGIVES15
- Take a ride in downtown San Francisco*, between September 15 and 18
- We’ll automatically donate** $1 to One Million Books!
One Million Books will benefit local organizations including First Book, Room to Read, and the San Francisco United School District. If you’d like to make a donation and don’t plan on taking a ride, you can text BOOKS to 27722 to donate $10, or visit the donation website here.
*Rides must be north of Division Ave., east of Van Ness Ave., and south of Broadway St.
**Donations are capped at $5,000.
