When you share your ride or take public transportation you reduce your carbon footprint. This Earth Day, we’ve partnered with the National Forest Foundation to take your impact to the next level by planting a tree for every uberPOOL ride you take in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 22.

When you plant a tree, you make an environmental impact that will last for generations. With uberPOOL, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment anytime you share your ride.

Over one month, we gathered stats on uberPOOL usage in Los Angeles to understand the impact of sharing a ride. Here’s what we found.
