Growing UberEATS

It has been just a little over a month since UberEATS launched in SF, delivering lunch in 10 minutes or less across SoMa and the Financial District. We began by working with more than 20 restaurant partners and in that short time have doubled that footprint, and are now working with over 40 local restaurant partners, including San Francisco favorites like Ike’s Place and hidden gems like Can Can Cleanse.

We’re thrilled to add new restaurant partners—and items—week after week, including Pluck food truck and Namu Gaji. And this Friday, we’re featuring SF Chronicle Top 100 restaurant, Rich Table, who’ve created a custom sandwich just for UberEATS.

Just as we’ve grown the number of restaurant partners and menu items, we’ve expanded our soft launch to include more hungry San Franciscans. This week alone, nearly 20,000 new eaters who have requested access to UberEATS will be off the waitlist and on their way to a delicious local meal in 10 minutes or less. We are excited to connect more of San Francisco to local favorites through UberEATS, which offers the same cashless and fast experience Uber users love.

If you want to be part of this experience, sign up here. We are growing fast and want to share UberEATS with as many people as possible.
