Valley Of The Sun Just Got Hotter With Uber
You have no idea how happy we are to tell you that Uber has officially launched in the Phoenix Metro. Phoenicians take their time, style and safety very seriously, and Uber is excited to provide the means to make it easier to improve all three. Get ready Phoenix, Uber is on the scene!
Phoenix isn’t just called The Valley Of The Sun because of the 115 degree summer days, but also because of the hot innovation that keeps pumping out of this city. There’s a contant stream of young technologists coming in and out of Phoenix to attend Uber cool events like the recent Pressnomics conference which featured amazing speakers such as Mikel Svane (founder of Zendesk) and Matt Mullenweg (founder of WordPress). Events like this are common place as we have incubators, venture catalysts, and co-working spots popping up all over the valley. One might say we are growing innovation.
When you are zipping to or from your next conference, workplace or business meeting, don’t stress the transportation route. Don’t worry about scrounging for change to feed the meter, just book an Uber minutes before you need to leave and we’ll swing by in one of our sleek town cars or SUVs and have you on your way in moments.
PHX has STYLE.
Truth be told, residents of the PHX Metro are style conscious. In fact, hotspots like downtown Scottsdale more than often attract big name celebs like our friends Frankie Muniz and Arie Luyendyk, along with the various sports stars that populate the valley. We all want to travel with such grace as these sweet socialites, and Uber aims to bridge that gap. Leave your keys in your pocket and let Uber do the driving.
Take us to the Glendale Arena to see the AZ Cardinals player, Larry Fitzgerald take apart the opposing team. Slide in to Tempe to hit the ASU scene, or hop over to Downtown PHX to immerse yourself in one of our our local art communities, we’ve got your needs covered.
We’ve got your back!
Phoenix is moving forward in the public transportation space, it’s true. With the newly added Light Rail, more taxi services than the last several years, and fuel conscious bikers, PHX has made strides. But let’s be honest… The light rail usually stops at 11 pm and only hits limited routes. The old bus system has improved, but still relies on a tight time budget, and the PHX metro is always looking for safer ways to get home after a night out on the town. Instead of driving yourself, have a professional Uber driver take you wherever you need to go, quickly and safely.
The Phoenix Metro used to be several cities divided by desert. Now we have roads that connect it all. The last piece of the puzzle is how to navigate these Sonoran streets. Luckily, we’ve got that piece, and that piece is Uber.
