Uber does London Fashion Week
Those of you who’ve been long-time Uber aficionados will know that UberLUX was the first service we launched in this city – and the long wheel-base, chauffeur driven cars were a perfect pairing for the most stylish of Londoners.
Since then, we’ve extended the experience with uberX and EXEC, setting the trend for anyone and everyone have on their own private driver. If life is a catwalk then the streets are most certainly a runway – and everyone deserves to get about them in style!
Marking our third year applying that mantra to LFW, we’re out in force transporting celebs, spectators and fashionistas as they and their entourages descend on the city.
We’ve got super-chic partnerships with Topshop, Elle UK, and Giles Deacon, some fabulous prizes to win and a few essential #ProTips to help you truly travel in style during the glitziest week of London’s calendar of couture.
London Fashion Weekend
Brought to you by Vodafone, London Fashion Weekend is fashion’s largest pop-up event, taking place from 18 – 21 September at Somerset House. We’ll be running a competition on our Facebook Page to win bronze tickets to the event, featuring exclusive catwalk shows, hair and beauty from TONI&GUY and a signature weekend tote bag for all attendees designed by Lulu Guinness herself.
Aspinal of London
Keeping it British, we’ve partnered with Aspinal of London to give away a collection of vouchers to spend at their flagship store, each worth £100.
With their signature Marylebone tote and Mayfair bag available in the A/W collection, you’ll want to keep an eye on our twitter and Instagram feeds over the weekend to be in with a chance of winning some seriously arm candy that’s quintessentially London.
To enter, simply tap the code ASPINALVIP into the promo section in the Uber app. We’ll pick the winners and send you an email on 16/09/14 when London Fashion Week 2014 draws to a close.
Uber + The OutNet are getting up close and personal with the latest styles in seasonal footwear with one rather cute recruit.
Meet Sergio the Shoe hunter, a miniature dachshund fashion finder:
— Telegraph Fashion (@TeleFashion) September 12, 2014
He’ll be taking street-style coverage to a whole new level (literally, as he’s about 5 inches tall) by capturing images of the best shoes on the ground from a camera attached to his collar.
He’ll also be dropping by several show venues throughout the week to capture the most fabulous footwear taking its place on the FRow.
