Uber to Macworld

<Macworld 2011!!>

Where: Moscone Center’s West Hall, San Francisco

When: Jan. 26-Jan. 29

How: Uber!

Apple lovers have been waiting patiently for this one week in the year when they can unite and geek out together on the newest from apple and apple third-party product manufacturers. They’ll have speakers (Sinbad will be there), music, workshops and expos galore. In the spirit of cutting edge technology and innovation, it only makes sense to get to and from the event via Uber. We’ll have plenty of cars posted nearby, so request a car straight from your iPhone (Android and SMS capable as well…we won’t tell anyone).

Cool features:

  • Hit a button and receive a text of your ETA and a car is en route.
  • Watch your car’s every movement from request until the end of your trip on the map
  • No cash! All payment done through the backend (tip included), just like iTunes.
  • Rate your driver at the end of your trip to ensure only quality drivers stay on the system.

Now that you’ve got transportation figured out, here are a few of the exhibits to check out:

Dexim (Booth #642): Dexim will launch iBluek™ iPad Keyboard, technology that turns a user’s iPad into a laptop. The product features a Bluetooth iPad keyboard in a durable leather case that also keeps the iPad charged for 90 hours of use or 100 days of standby time using an internal lithium-ion battery.

AWIND (Booth #946): AWIND will introduce McTiVia, the first device capable of displaying all thecontents of a user’s Mac or Windows computer on their TV wirelessly. Users can easily control up to eightcomputers with their mouse and/or keyboard, as well as share any content from a computer with friends and family in the living room.

algoriddim (Booth #409): algoriddim will launch djay  for iPad, technology that transforms the iPad into a full-  fledged DJ system that allows users to mix their iPod music  library on a hyper-realistic turntable interface. Perform live,  record mixes on-the-go, or enable Automix mode and let djay  mix your favorite playlist automatically. With unprecedented  ease-of-use and innovative multi-touch mixing features, djay  for iPad takes DJing to the next level and offers a unique  experience for beginners and professionals alike.

Oh yeah…and did we mention that for some reason Sinbad will there??? Enjoy the event and let us know what your favorite part of Macworld was!
