Uber App Update: Signing up is now a snap-shot!
One of our goals at Uber is to get you to where you want to go as quickly as possible. Of course, before you can request a ride, you need to sign up. But signing up for anything is hard… who wants to stand around and fill out forms? Not us!
We’ve worked hard to make signing up and entering information as simple as possible so that you can be on your way. And now, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to simply scan your credit card to add it to your Uber account.
If you’re a frequent online shopper, you might have your credit card numbers, CVVs and expiration dates memorized… (who, me?). However, for most of us, our cards are meaningless strings of numbers. With our latest iPhone app update, all you need to do is hold up your card in front of your phone. Here’s how it works:
Android users – we’ll soon be integrating this feature into our Android app so you can also feel the magic. ;)
