UberPitchME: Meet The Winners

On Saturday, May 9th, Uber and ArabNet teamed up to make life-changing moments available on-demand, in five cities across MENA.

Startup warriors, entrepreneurs and dreamers in Dubai, Riyadh, Cairo, Beirut and Amman were invited to submit their application to pitch their big idea to regional startup heroes and Uber management.

UPDATE: FOUR STARTUPS TO BE SPONSORED AT THE ARABNET DIGITAL SHOWCASE MAY 27-28th!

Within a week, more than 150 approved applicants were invited to participate in #UberPitchME. The majority of applicants came from Dubai, a testament to the growing entrepreneurship scene in the city.

The judges heard pitches from a variety of startups, and with so many amazing ideas, Uber Dubai and ArabNet decided to expand their partnership and sponsor four startups instead of two! The four winners will be sponsored at the ArabNet Digital Showcase May 27-28th, where they will have the opportunity to pitch for 3 minutes on stage, speak with 70 industry leaders in a closed meeting, and a booth for their startup.

After hearing more than 40 pitches, judges in each city selected their nomination for their city’s finalist.
