The Uber Cup: Destination Rio
This summer, the hottest event on the planet is taking place in beautiful Rio de Janeiro. The world is gathering to watch the biggest soccer tournament on earth and Uber wants you to be a part of it.
Every day, Uber’s partner-drivers from around the world work hard to move people around their cities safely, conveniently, and efficiently. To show our thanks to the dedicated drivers that power the Uber system, we’re sending 7 of the top drivers to Brazil.

How do I win?
As a driver on the Uber system, you’re automatically qualified to compete to win the Uber Cup. To compete, all you have to do is what you already do best… drive.
Between Friday June, 6th and Sunday, June 22nd, drivers will score points for driving on the Uber system. Drivers will score points for each 5-star and 4-star trip rating (5-star trips score more points) and for each hour spent on the road (capped at 10 active hours per day).
How do I qualify?
Drivers are automatically enrolled in the competition. To be eligible to compete, drivers must satisfy all of the following criteria during the contest period:
- Average rating of 4.8 or higher.
- Acceptance rate of 50% of higher.
- Abide by all standard rules for driving on the Uber system. For example, only
approved vehicles and drivers are allowed to do trips on the Uber system.
Additionally, to be eligible to win the Uber Cup trip, drivers must have all the required documents for international travel. Make sure to review the necessary travel documents required by country.
